our head barista, laura clark, is back home from melbourne (yep, the one in australia!). that is where she attended the world barista championship competition, and cheered like a banshee when kansas city's own pete licata took first place. if you are wondering what that thing is in the pic above, laura took travel photos of her espresso tamper she calls buba like a travelling gnome. hey name something you associate with australia for double punches today! oh and the answer to monday's trivia was the civil war.
