Antique Espresso Machine

jenny & i daytripped to st. joseph w/some old college friends this afternoon. our destination? a quasi-huge antique mall. we saw some real cool stuff, and we bought a couple of low end items, but we couldn't shell out the money for the brass espresso machine.

Adios Grayson

grayson (the guy in the apron) made alot of friends while working at homer's, and they gave him a proper send off today. me? i didn't get to say "goodbye" to grayson, but i DID sign his card.

Hidden Skills

when you work at homer's, you never know what kind of skills are needed at a moment's notice. head patting and stomach rubbing aren't things that EVERYONE can do at the same time.

i played with wailin' wall last saturday night. on behalf of the band, i just wanna say thanks to the crowd who showed up, and sang along when we played the levon helm tribute. it was really cool to be a part of that.

doulos is setting up lights, sound, and equipment as i type this blog entry. they will be playing alternative rock at homer's tonight starting at 7:30pm. if you haven't heard them before you can check out their website! and WAIT there's more! tomorrow night wailin' wall returns to homer's with a roots rock show that will amaze and astound some of you. same time (7:30pm), same coffeehouse (homer's).

monday i worked with laura. some of her friends came by to see her. when i saw one of them wearing a walkman t-shirt, i knew i wanted to get a picture of our shirts together. that day i had on a t-shirt with a boombox. it's one of two tees that my friend jeff hoover mailed to my house a few months ago.
